BIOGRAPHY:
Garler is an original rock band that is comprised of two New York City musicians together with a local rhythm section. Joe (guitarist) fronted popular New York bands “Ultrafine” and “The Reveals” before relocating with vocalist Jale to Windsor, Ontario Canada. Jale founded the punk rock band “Guttergirl” whose infamous shows are still being talked about and copied all over the New York scene. Together with Mark (bassist) and Luke (drummer) from Windsor’s downtown music scene, they have developed a fresh rock and roll sound. It’s hard to compare their unique sound; their music has a definite Hendrix/Zeppelin feel with lyrical melodies resembling the newer bands Coldplay and Incubus.

Formed in January 2002 this band has already toured Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Southwestern Ontario playing London, Kitchener and Toronto. During their short existence Garler has been written about by the Windsor Star, the LaSalle Silhouette, The Record (Kitchener), Echo Weekly (Kitchener/Waterloo) and have been played on CHYR FM and CKMS FM radio. Their song “I Found Out” has been chosen for an independent film being produced by Sith Servo Pictures. They are a touring band and are looking forward to rocking your socks off in the future wherever you may be.
