BIOGRAPHY:
The essence of life is experience. In turn, the
essence of Ten Indians can only be experienced. It cannot be written about
nor spoken of. Although a critique of them would be quite favourable,
the praise would not do justice to the reality of who they are. Ten Indians
are alive, and they'll kick you
when you hear them.
Ten Indians' music is a unique combination of many different
influences from jazz to rock to pop with inspiration from the incredible
musical presence which is Detroit. The band has played hundreds of shows
of their own and backed up numerous artists such as The Odds, The Watchmen,
Carol Pope and many others. They have toured through Ontario performing
in such cities as Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catherines and Kitchener. Ten
Indians have also played notable venues in Detroit including the State
Theatre, the infamous Lili's 21, and the swank 89X (88.7fm Windsor/ Detroit)
garden parties at the Whitney Mansion.
