BIOGRAPHY:
These Canadian boys of sing-a-long rock n' roll keep on kicking their way into the Canadian music scene. Playing mainly in the Windsor and Toronto areas, The Redstripes have opened for the likes of Tricky Woo, The Two Minute Miracles, The Frenetics, Cuff The Duke, The Burdocks, and Clover Honey, as well as headlining their fair share of gigs.

The band was founded in 2000 and The Redstripes have been rocking the foundation ever since. Their current sound has likened them to artists such as; Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, The Kinks, Sloan and Weezer. Their music has been featured on CBC Radio Wi-ndsor, CHYR in Leamington, CBC’s Radio Escapade program, RadioKaos’ The Eh Team program (live webcast) as well as various campus radio stations.

Every show is an exhilarating performance. The boys’ main objective is to have a great time, a few laughs, and to rock all night… However, The Redstripes’ music is what really drives the show. Creative lyrics and endless catchy melodies – this is what rock and roll is all about. Former The Redstripes contributing players include: Ron Leary (bass, vocals) and Dave Atkinson (vocals, bass).
